The popular BlackBerry Pearl is all set to make fans in India too. Airtel and Vodafone unveiled the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone by RIM for Indians. It is the first clamshell phone that will add up in the RIM gallery.
The BlackBerry Pearl Flip is bundled up with great features and adds the power of BlackBerry platform. The large keyboard allows quick and easy dialing and typing making the user very comfortable. The internal 2.4 inch wide screen is protected by the flip design and the external screen will display calendars, emails, phone calls and text messages in brief.

Users can access social networking sites like Facebook, YouTube and MySpace. RIM’s mobile email solution will offer an enhanced internet experience via the Wi-Fi connectivity. You can also capture images with its 2 megapixel camera integrated with features like digital zoom, video recording and flash. The BlackBerry pearl Flip phone can support expansion of memory up to 16 GB. It is enriched with a music player and videos can be watched on its full-screen. The 8220 Flip phone incorporates BlackBerry Media Sync application; this provides access to the iTunes music. The Bluetooth connectivity will allow you to transfer files and data.
