Chillingo and Tetraedge have partnered to launch an amazing adventure game called the Return To Mysterious Island 2 for the iPhone. Inspired by Jules Verne’s novel The Mysterious Island, it is said to be the biggest game launched for the iPhone, taking about 300MB storage space.
The Return To Mysterious Island 2 game is based on a strong-willed young woman who is on a sailing voyage across the globe. Trapped in a tremendous storm, this young woman is marooned on a wild and supposedly deserted island. While exploring the unfamiliar places she discovers artifacts, living spaces and technologies that were left behind by the people who had traveled there before her.
Franck Devisme, CEO of Tetraedge Inc states “In Return To Mysterious Island, there is no game-imposed linear ordering to how the game is played. Every player will have their own unique ways of advancing through the game.” He added “The iPhone multi-touch features takes the game-play of this classic adventure game to new levels never yet seen before.
