Reliance Jio has announced yet another special scheme, calling its latest enterprise the Jio Football Offer since it’s one of the sponsors of the Indian Super League. The deal can be taken up by new and existing prepaid subscribers who are also Jio Prime members.
To get started, a person would have to buy an eligible smartphone and then recharge their Jio account for either Rs 198 or Rs 299 by 31 March 2018 on the MyJio app. The list of devices is fairly long and includes brands such as Motorola, Lyf, Nokia, Samsung, Asus, Xiaomi, LG, Huawei, BlackBerry, Panasonic, 10.or, and Micromax.
After completing the above mentioned steps, users will be eligible for Rs 2200 in cashback. Instead of giving away a lump sum, Jio will parcel the amount in 44 cashback vouchers worth Rs 50 each. These coupons can only be redeemed in later recharges, but only one at a time. They have to be used up by 31 March 2022 since they’ll expire on that date.
Reliance Jio has been aggressively hawking its wares for more than a year now. It kicked off the New Year by announcing some revamped plans and cutting the price of others. Its cheapest long-term plan at the moment is a Rs 98 one which gives away 2GB of data over the course of 28 days, along with unlimited calling, 300 SMSes, and free access to Jio apps.
