Reliance Retail’s new Lyf Flame 3 has been launched in India and is now up for pre-orders exclusively via Homeshop18. The phone’s main claim to fame is its 4G connectivity and support for VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility.
The Reliance Lyf Flame 3 has been slapped with a Rs 3999 price tag. That makes it one of the cheapest 4G-ready phones in the market right now. It’ll have to face-off against other affordable LTE phones like the Intex Cloud Fame and Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus. Both cost the same and feature a similar set of specs except for a few key differences. For instance, the latter offers Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Diving into its features, the Reliance offering sports a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800p) screen. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and gets its fuel from a 1700mAh battery. The powerhouse is supposed to supply a maximum of 4.5 hours of talk time in a single charge. Users will have access to only 4GB of storage which will probably have to be augmented by a microSD card thanks to pre-installed bloatware eating into the space available.
