Domestic handset manufacturer Jivi Mobiles has joined hands with Reliance Jio for the latter’s Football Offer in India. The deal promises Rs 2200 in cashback for fresh and existing subscribers who buy a new 4G smartphone before 31 March 2018.
The Jio Football Offer is actually applicable on a wide variety of brands including Samsung, Asus, Micromax, Motorola, and Nokia. Jivi stands out because it’s selling what is effectively one of the lowest priced 4G devices in India, the Energy E3.
The Energy E3 costs Rs 2899 at the moment, but if you take the Football Offer into account, it goes down to just Rs 699. Even Jivi’s other phones are part of the scheme namely the Energy E12, Prime P300, Revolution TnT3, Prime P444, and Prime P30. After cutting out Rs 2200, the handsets go down to Rs 999, Rs 2099, Rs 1999, Rs 2599, and Rs 1799, respectively.
While buying a 4G smartphone for just Rs 699 sounds tempting, there are a couple of important factors to consider. First of all, customers will have to perform a recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 to be eligible for the deal. They’ll then receive Rs 2200 in the form of 44 vouchers worth Rs 50 each.
