Reliance Jio tops 4G download speed rankings, hits all-time high in May

Reliance Jio has topped TRAI’s May list of fastest telecom operators when it comes to peak 4G download speeds in India. The brand managed to hit an all-time high of 19.123Mbps in that particular month.

That rate is based on the data collected by TRAI’s MySpeed app. It should be noted that the results correspond to the average of the data speed samples collected on a crowd sourcing basis over the course of a month or 3 months. It basically only represents people who have actually utilized the application to test their network speed and is not an actual survey.

As per PTI, Reliance Jio has been fairly consistent when it comes to TRAI’s list, sitting at the number one spot almost every month since its debut. It’s followed by Idea Cellular at 13.709Mbps, Vodafone India at 13.387Mbps, and Airtel at 10.153Mbps in May.
