QNAP rolls out new version 1.1 of QMobile app

QMobile Update iPhoneSynchronizing diverse multimedia content is all set to become more convenient for iOS users employing the QNAP Turbo NAS servers. QNAP Systems recently launched an update for its QMobile app, version 1.1. It has been released for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch device users.

The latest version of the QMobile app allows users to instantly access their videos, music or photos on the NAS remotely for it sharing through their iOS devices on 3G or 4G networks or Wi-Fi connectivity. It now proffers new multitasking capabilities so that for instance music playback will not be hindered in case any other task begins.

The app quickly uploads various stored or recently captured videos to Turbo NAS and enables easy personalization of playlists via Playlist editor for an improved listening experience. It comes equipped with support for enhanced photo viewing. If the saved images provide location information then newly included EXIF and Google Maps pinpoints the exact location.

The new flavor of the software app packs in native iPad support and paging for iPhone and iPod touch. It is compatible with aforementioned devices based on iOS 4.0 or later versions and requires QNAP Turbo NAS running firmware V3.3.0 or higher.

The updated QMobile app is currently available for download via iTunes App Store for free.
