Prada Phone By LG 3.0

After having its covers slipped off a few months ago, the Prada phone by LG 3.0 is now set to make its debut via T-Mobile UK. The third edition of the LG and Prada mobile phone showed up in South Korea just last month and was expected to arrive in other parts of Asia and Europe by the end of January.

The network carrier’s UK webpage shows this smartphone along with the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and the BlackBerry Curve 9380 in the ‘Coming Soon’ section. A result of the long standing partnership between LG and the renowned international fashion label, Prada, the handset is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor. It runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and should be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the second quarter of this year.

Adorned with the fashion label’s logo and a Saffiano pattern on the back, the LG mobile device comes equipped with a 4.3-inch 800 x 480p WVGA 800-nit glossy NOVA touchscreen. Snap-happy users can employ the embedded 8MP main camera as well as store multimedia content in the 8GB of internal memory.

Like its predecessors, the LG 1.0 and 2.0, the new offering also sports a classic black finish and a trim form factor measuring merely 8.5mm. It is most likely to be accompanied by a collection of accessories that was reeled out along with its unveiling. This covers several designer pouches, a Prada branded cradle and Bluetooth ear set and so on.

Unwired View reports that although the T-Mobile UK webpage displays nothing on the Prada phone by LG 3.0 price, this may be calculated roughly based on what other carriers in the UK are proffering it for.
