POS Portal unmasks PunchSpot app for iPhone

PunchSpot iPhone App

This iPhone app can let people share their favorite places with their friends. POS Portal has released an iPhone app known as PunchSpot. This new app enables users to mail in lists of their preferred places like cafes, restaurants, boutiques or wineries to their friends.

When a user sends a list of their desired places, PunchSpot produces a 2-D barcode that stands for the list of places. When a user scans a code, the list is downloaded to their phone and the person receives notes about the place. Also apart from this, they get the business address, phone number, directions, deals, and a link to reviews of that particular place.

Buzz Stryker commented, “What differentiates us is that we focus on recommendations. We think that people value recommendations from friends more than reviews from people they don’t know.”

People can share lists by exhibiting the 2-D barcode on their devices or by mailing the barcode by means of email or twitter. Users can also hit upon deals by taking part in PunchSpot merchants. They can also earn rewards for referring friends.

With simply a few simple taps on the iPhone, users can come up with a list of preferred places, make notes, and share them with their friends. PunchSpot app can be downloaded for no charge from Apple’s iTunes Store.
