Come July 15 and all those who’d fancy their Nokia Lumia 900 in pink can get one through AT&T. As of now, the network carrier is vending it in black, white and cyan colors.

With regards to the new hue that the Lumia handset will don for the network operator, Nokia announces that it’s going to be a shade exclusive to AT&T. So tough luck to those wanting to grab one from any other service provider in the US. The Finnish company has also named a few apps that apparently are top picks for the device.

“Today, we’re proud to announce the addition of a stunning new color that’s sure to make you stand out from the crowd. The Nokia Lumia 900 will soon be available in the US from AT&T in a beautiful pink color,” says the post announcing the launch on the Nokia Conversations blog.

Nokia has made it a point to note that the smartphone is not merely finished with a coat of pink. The entire frame is crafted from polycarbonate and it’s just one piece of plastic. According to the company, scratches or similar wear and tear shouldn’t show up on the body since the material is drenched in pink throughout.

Starting from July 15, AT&T will start accepting pre-orders for the pink Nokia Lumia 900. Since it’s only a color change that we’re expecting on the phone, it’s hardly likely that the carrier will up the $99.99 price or do away with the 2-year contract bundled with the regular units.
