Philips has been spotted quite often in the news columns these days, here’s one more news coming from the Philips room which is regarding the launch of a new mobile phone. According to slashgear, Philips is all set to announce another mobile phone called the Philips Xenium X810.
The new Philips Xenium X810 phone features a 240 x 400 TFT touchscreen display and a panel of touch-sensitive buttons. The phone may incorporate a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash that should allow users to capture their enjoyable moments.
Apparently, the phone may equip an internal memory of 45MB and might support expansion of memory via microSD card slot. The Xenium X810 phone may sport a media player and support Bluetooth connectivity.
The Philips Xenium X810 may lack 3G capabilities but on the other hand, it may support quad band GSM connectivity with EDGE. The phone measures 104 x 52 x 14.4mm and weighs only 100g. The long lasting battery life of the phone should offer a standby time of upto one month.
The handset will probably be first available in China. The date of availability and pricing details of the phone are not yet known.
