Adding to the plethora of cases offering protection to the latest Apple smartphone, the iPhone 4S, are the PDP Horde and Alliance cases that can also be used to cover the iPhone 4. Announced by Performance Designed Products, the exterior of these sheaths are adorned with designs that derive inspiration from the popular role-playing online game, World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment.
Some time ago, the range of Diablo III cases by Performance Designed Products was made available to Blizzard gamers at the BlizzCon 2011. The company had also built 250 limited-edition Blizzard Entertainment iPhone cases which were given away to the audience attending the show.
Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment stated, “One of the things players really enjoy in World of Warcraft is customizing their characters, and these Horde and Alliance iPhone cases offer them another way to bring some of that customization to the real world. PDP has a lot of experience creating high-quality accessories, and we’re pleased to be working with them on this new Blizzard line.”
Introduced for fans of the World of Warcraft game, these newly released cases promise to offer protection to the iPhone against thumps, bumps and scratches as well as provide convenience while handling through their satin grip. More such designer cases based on the Diablo and StarCraft games by Blizzard Entertainment are scheduled to launch soon. Besides these covers, the company also plans to introduce cases for select Android phones and Android charging docks that will sport Blizzard Entertainment game-themes.
The PDP Horde and Alliance cases for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S are now available at GameStop stores in Europe and USA as well as online at PDP.com for a price of $29.99 each.
