Users who have been waiting to instantly record and share real-time video status updates from their Android device seem to be answered. Particle has recently introduced an all-new application, Robo.to, for Android phones.

With the new app, users can quickly record and share real-time video status updates right from their handset, while also synchronizing their Robo.to profile with mobile address book contacts, for a completely integrated experience. The app comes with ‘Mood Ring’ feature that displays a caller’s most recent video status update and gives more context than a static image or text to begin the conversation.

“Since its inception, Particle has focused on designing applications that tie into the way people live their mobile lives. Robo.to provides a truly unique, social experience that brings real-time authenticity to social networking. This vision is fully realized with mobile integration as Robo.to now goes anywhere at any time,” stated Aubrey Anderson, Particle co-founder and CTO.

Android users can now navigate directly from a Robo.to contact to initiate an action, import mobile contacts to Robo.to profile, and initiate Robo.to record from any screen on their phone and publish the video to Robo.to profile.

The application with its ‘Pre-Flight’ Information enables users to see a contact’s latest Robo.to status update before connecting by call, text or email. In addition, users can automatically update contact information for people in their network, so they always have the latest phone numbers, emails and social networking accounts.

The Robo.to Android App is now available to download.
