With claims to raise the handset options for ‘simplicity seekers,’ the company has spelled out the Pantech Flex AT&T price and release date details. And to begin the journey, the device brings along a dual interface with easy and traditional modes just like the Pantech Marauder.
A 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED capacitive display graces the front panel which, as earlier mentioned, offers a dual UI. The easy mode provides a platform for prioritizing and organizing applications on the home screen for quick access. Buyers can easily switch between the two settings as per their convenience and need. Then there is the ‘intelligent’ SwiftKey keyboard that offers precise predictions and corrections by learning the user’s natural language.
“The Pantech Flex is a great phone because of its versatility,” commented Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility. “This phone simplifies the smartphone experience and allows someone who has been hesitant to buy a smartphone a chance to get familiar with it at their own pace, and still leaves open the possibility of having the more traditional experience.”
The 4.6-pound Pantech handset brings the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and a dual core processor ticking at 1.5GHz under one roof for smooth operations. Multimedia capabilities can be attributed to the rear-facing 8MP camera which can record videos in full HD. Let’s not forget, there is also a front-facing 2MP snapper for face-to-face chats while on the move.
The Pantech Flex AT&T price and release date details are been confirmed. The cost is tagged at $49.99 with qualifying voice and data plans as well as a two-year agreement. The handset will be available for purchase starting September 16.
