Panasonic T33 dual SIM speaks 21 languages, out for Rs 4999

The Panasonic T33, the latest entry in the company’s budget T series of smartphones, has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 4999. It will be available starting from the third week of July across the country.

The entry level Panasonic T33 comes with the expected specs for its segment. It’s a dual-SIM device that runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 with the help of a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 512MB of RAM. The handset has 4GB of internal storage, further expandable up till 32GB via microSD.

Panasonic T33 Rear

The T33 has a 4-inch TFT WVGA (480 x 800p) display. Its camera capabilities consist of a 3MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing lens. The phone derives its power through a 1500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Panasonic T33

The USP of the Panasonic phone is its support for 21 Indian languages. However, it falls short when compared with other phones that offer multi-lingual options, such as the iBall Andi Avonte 5 (21 languages) or the Micromax Bolt D303 (10 languages).

The Andi Avonte 5 is a more expensive option at Rs 5999, but has a 5-inch screen, an 8MP autofocus rotating camera with dual flash, a 2150mAh battery, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. The Bolt D303 is a cheaper alternative to the Panasonic T33 at Rs 3499, and has similar specs except for a 1300mAh battery and a 1.3GHz dual core processor.
