The Panasonic Eluga L 4G priced at Rs 12990, is the first phone from the company which supports 4G in India. It hasn’t been released yet, but it’s been promised that you will be able to buy it from online retailers as well as physical outlets as soon as it hits availability.
Featuring Android KitKat v4.4, the Panasonic Eluga L 4G happens to be a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G as well as 3G networks. There are so many options that this handset will be competing against right now, we’re not sure if Panasonic did enough to make sure it stands out from the crowd.
For the new Eluga L, the second gen Moto E 4G is going to be one tough monkey to beat considering the latter’s cost. The scores of other 4G phones that have been introduced into the Indian market lately also cover the Lenovo A6000 and A7000, Xiaomi Mi 4i, Sony Xperia E4g Dual, Spice Stellar 519 4G LTE and more.

A 5-inch HD touchscreen takes up the Eluga L 4G’s front along with a 5MP camera for selfie lovers. The back panel is given to an 8MP snapper with flash and auto focus. Both sides of the smartphone are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass to help it survive the routine bumps and falls users would normally subject it to.

This handset makes do with 1GB of RAM and there’s 8GB of onboard storage. Because content hoarders are likely to fall short of memory space, Panasonic has slipped in a microSD card slot which can accommodate up to 32GB of memory expandability. The usual connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS are present too.
