The Panasonic Eluga Arc has been unveiled in India and is set to hit shops across the country priced at Rs 12490. The handset is the company’s first handset to sport 2.5D curved glass and further ships with Android for Work in order to appeal to on-the-go professionals.

One of the biggest highlights of the Panasonic Eluga Arc is its fingerprint sensor. The scanner is placed on the back of the phone and allows users to unlock the device, snap a photo, launch or lock an app and take calls. The smartphone further comes with an in-built IR blaster to control various household appliances like a TV or AC.

Specs-wise, the Eluga Arc features a standard set of features for a mid-range offering. It offers both 4G and VoLTE connectivity and its 1800mAh battery can apparently power itself up 75% faster thanks to Qualcomm Quick Charge technology. As for its photography skills, the phone carries an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing one for selfies and video calls.

The dual-SIM Panasonic handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of the brand’s own FitHome UI skinned on top. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 takes care of its daily operations with the help of 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU.
