Paltalk outs mobile app for Android

Paltalk Android Logo After making its presence felt in the video chat community, software and technology provider, Paltalk now seems to have ventured into the Android market. A recent report on the official Paltalk blog drops a note saying that the company has introduced a mobile app for Android devices. This app enables users to gain access in desired chat rooms, watch multiple videos and also meet and connect with friends.

Those using the new Paltalk Mobile app can participate in group chats via text and chat one-on-one via IM or text. It touts of video publishing capabilities for V2.0 and compatibility with the soon to be launched Blackberry Playbook. The mobile app helps to stay in touch with loved ones via IM and text chat.

“We are delighted to add Android users to our rapidly increasing base of Paltalk mobile app users and to continue to seek new and enhanced functionalities in order to make their experience even richer,” added Jason Katz, CEO, Paltalk. “More and more, consumers are turning to their mobile devices to stay in touch and to stay up-to-date. Through the addition of the Paltalk app, users are now able to access their favorite Paltalk chat rooms, view videos, and meet and connect with friends anytime and from virtually anywhere.”

The latest offering is designed with capability to change status, login as invisible and customize away messages. This mobile app helps make friends by searching over 3 million profiles. It can also add, remove and block friends. Along with the ability to manage alert and sound settings, the app is fitted with 1:1 video broadcasting capabilities.

The Paltalk Mobile app already available for Blackberry and iPhone users can be downloaded for free.
