Otterbox Tandem Case

Expanding its protective cases portfolio, OtterBox has recently announced the Tandem Series for users’ sensitive Palm Pre phone. Engineered with utmost attention to detail and consideration for protection, the series ensures to enhance users’ smartphone experience concurrently.

Designed to protect against unexpected bump and shock, the Tandem Series offers two custom fit polycarbonate shells with overmolding and an adhesive screen to shield against scratches. The very first shell attaches to the front of the handset and the second shell attaches to the back. Besides, the silicone around the outside edges of the case ensures unrivaled protection against bumps while polycarbonate shells offer stability to withstand light impact. Further, once the case is assembled, it enables complete functionality, even when sliding the display screen up and down.

“We’ve finally put rubber to the road with the concept of a case for a slider phone and the Palm Pre was just the right place to start,” stated Curt Richardson, OtterBox CEO. “The Tandem Series is a completely new design for us and we have spent significant time and effort to offer not only protection, but functionality. CES is the ideal environment to introduce our new line and we’re looking forward to feedback from passionate tech minds at the show.”

Additionally, the volume keys and power button of Palm Pre will be covered by a thin silicon layer to offer extra protection and the USB/charge port, earpiece, home button, microphone, display screen, speaker, camera, flash and other features are openly accessible.

Ensuring complete mobile protection for any technology enthusiast, the case comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth and an installation card as well. Users with Palm Pre can now experience enhanced ergonomics and functionality with a pioneered option for protection.

The pricing and availability details of the latest Tandem Series are under the wraps for now.
