Those who are ardent fans of Oprah Winfrey can now interact with Oprah.com. Hands-On-Mobile is all set to launch a new application, called Oprah Mobile. It offers a single entry point, which allows users to interact with Oprah.com. This application has been launched for all major smartphones currently available in the market – iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm Pre and Google Android.

Fans, with the help of this application, can view video clips or previews from their favorite talk show, the Oprah Winfrey Show. Moreover, the app provides details such as time and channels that would be airing the show. Viewers can check on these details from anywhere in the Untied States.

Erik Logan, President of Harpo Studios on the eve of the launch commented that, “With a presence that spans television, print, film and radio, we are delighted that we can now offer a mobile digital experience that will allow millions of Oprah fans to engage and connect in a new way.”

Talking about the application, it offers users a chance to participate in the exclusive weekly polls taking place. Furthermore, users can listen to audio clips, view photo galleries, read articles and highlights available on Oprah.com, O, The Oprah Magazine and Oprah Radio.

While Scott Scherer, Vice President and General Manager of mobile applications at Hands-On Mobile remarked that, “Being given the opportunity to take part of the Oprah universe to mobile is a great honor. We’ve worked closely with the Harpo team to create an app that will serve as a one-stop-shop for Oprah’s digital audience to access and share great online content.”

Users can also keep up with Oprah’s tweets once they have this application downloaded on their smartphone. What more, with the application in tow, users can be alerted to log onto Oprah.com once the tickets for the 25th and final season of the talk show are available.
