Oppo N1 vs. Gionee Elife E7: Which Chinese phone maker takes the cake?

Oppo and Gionee are two Chinese smartphone makers trying to make their marks in India and here we are comparing their respective latest smartphones with each other. The Oppo N1 went official in the country only yesterday, while the Gionee Elife E7 has been around for over a month as it arrived in December.

While Gionee is concentrating on taking on the budget market of the country by launching affordable and mid-range smartphones, Oppo is targeting the high-end gadgets. Let’s take a look at the features of the two smartphones and even figure out if the latter’s contender can justify the hefty price tag or not.

The Oppo N1 smartphone boasts of some innovative features and one of them is its swiveling camera that can rotate up to an angle of 206 degrees. Although it features only a single 13MP snapper, it can be used as both a webcam and a rear-facing shooter. Additionally, on the flip side, the company has fitted an O-Touch panel for scrolling and navigation purposes. A device dubbed O-Click also accompanies the handset so you can operate the camera remotely and locate the phone if it gets misplaced.
