The Oppo Find 7 smartphone has been announced as a Flipkart exclusive for a price of Rs 37990 even though we thought Amazon India was going to sell the device. It looks like the Chinese company decided to take its Find 7 where the party’s at considering all the handsets Flipkart has bagged for its very own.
The list of exclusives claimed by the popular online seller include all Motorola’s Moto phones, the Asus ZenFone series, the Xiaomi devices and the Celkon Signature Two A500 amongst several others. In July, Oppo revealed that its entire portfolio of products released in the country this year, would be hitting Amazon India.
We’re guessing putting the aforementioned device lineup online via the retail giant did not mean the Oppo Find 7 would end up there. Since Flipkart is attracting so many eyeballs with its various exclusives, the Chinese brand may have decided it’d have a better chance getting publicity for its smartphone through this vendor’s portal.
The Find 7 is quite a neat handset with its 3GB of RAM, quad core Snapdragon 801 processor, QHD resolution 5.5-inch screen, 13MP rear camera and 5MP webcam. But we bet a lot of people are scoffing at the price which seems high for a brand that’s not as big as Samsung or Apple. And believe us, ‘but they’re Chinese goods’ is sort of difficult for high-end products to shake off even today.
