Opera to release final version of Opera 10 on September 1

Opera Logo The second beta version of the Opera 10 was released around July and now Opera has unveiled the release candidate of its Opera 10. According to the company, the final version of Opera 10 will be offered on September 1.

The release candidate of Opera 10 is loaded with a plethora of features. The innovative web browser boasts of a new application icon and provides superior speed and performance. The latest web browser is inclusive of Opera Turbo feature, a bandwidth-booster for faster Internet connections.

“The release candidate pushes us closer to the final launch of Opera 10. We paid special attention to the mail client, which is one of our most enduring and popular features. Now, we are very close to releasing the best browser in Opera’s long history. We hope everyone who has helped us test our browser thus far will put the release candidate through its paces. With everyone’s help, Opera 10 will surprise a lot of people with its speed, stability and powerful features,” quoted Jan Standal, Vice President of Desktop Products, Opera.

The web browser also incorporates Opera’s built-in e-mail client known as Opera Mail. Now the browser would feature resizeable, thumbnail tabs. The speed dial functionality is now upgraded and allows users to personalize their favorite online destinations and the overall look and feel of their start page.

Further, browsing is now made faster on resource intensive pages such as Gmail and Facebook. It is also 40 percent faster than the Opera 9.6. Even web developers can now enjoy Web Fonts support, RGBA/HSLA color and other SVG enhancements. Let’s wait and watch how fruitful the Opera 10 turns out to be.
