Opera Mobile awarded as Best for Windows Mobile

Opera Mobile which is a great mobile browser for both Windows-based Pocket PC and Smartphones was awarded the Best Software Award by Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine in 2007.

Nominations included all the providers and vendors of mobile Internet technology and applications were judged by a panel of experts from the wireless community.

Opera Mobile is a proven, versatile and comprehensive solution which delivers high performance browsing on feature rich phones, powering greater end-user online productivity and fueling higher data ARPU.

Opera Mobile was nominated to compete against its sister product, Opera Mini, and ThunderHawk in the Internet browsers and Web utilities category for Windows-based Pocket PCs.

In the Smartphone Web browser category, Opera Mobile again beat fellow product Opera Mini and Skweezer.
