Opera Mobile 10 beta for Windows Mobile smartphones

Opera Mobile 10 Screenshot Windows Mobile users can now enjoy desktop like browsing experience right from their handsets with the introduction of Opera Mobile 10 beta. The interface of the Opera mobile 10 beta is similar to the Opera 10 desktop browser and Opera Mini 5 beta.

The mobile browser packages a wide range of functionalities yet keeps the interface clutter-free. The speed dial presents a personal table of contents for the Web which are displayed when the browser is launched. The Windows Mobile browser also features tabbed browsing, allowing users to open new links in multiple tabs and shuffle among them easily.

“We are unifying our products, so that users get the same experience, no matter the device or which particular Opera browser they are using. With Opera Mobile 10, we are raising the expectations of how a mobile browser should perform. Today, users require a browser as powerful as the Web, one that can handle their daily tasks as well as their computers. That’s Opera,” remarked Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software.

Users can pan, zoom and smoothly scroll the webpages. The device also enables users to select and save their friends’ Facebook pictures for offline viewing. With Opera Turbo, users can offload their page rendering to one of Opera’s servers, minimizing data costs. Additionally, the Opera Mobile 10 beta is optimized for touchscreen navigation and allows users to explore the new adaptive zoom feature, kinetic scrolling, and visual tab thumbnails features via their touchscreen handset.

Opera Mobile 10 beta for Windows Mobile smartphones can be downloaded for free from Opera’s official website.
