OnePlus has sold over 30000 units of its Loop VR headset in under 5 seconds via the second flash sale it held for the device. The app-only Amazon sale was held over two separate days which saw all units disappearing in a flash, probably thanks to the special Rs 1 price tag attached to the gadget.

OnePlus has additionally gotten over a million registrations for the OnePlus 3 in the days leading up to its June 14 launch. The upcoming handset will be the first to be sold in virtual reality. The lucky few who managed to snap up the Loop VR headset can now witness the unveiling of the phone for themselves in The Loop, the VR space station where the company plans to out the device.
