The OnePlus Sandstone Case for the Apple iPhone 6 and 6S has made its way to India now and can be bought via Amazon. The cover was globally launched about a month ago and is priced at Rs 1499.
Notably, the cost of the OnePlus Sandstone Case is a bit higher than the Rs 1199 one which was promised by the company for its India release. It’s also arriving here considerably later than the December release that was guaranteed at its international announcement.
The Sandstone Case is made up of polycarbonate and sports the same rough texture which can be found on the black version of the OnePlus One and OnePlus Two. The brand claims that the cover provides for better grip and protection, given the slippery nature of the iPhone 6 and 6S.
It’s an unusual offering seeing as how the case obscures the Apple logo on the back of the device. There’s a OnePlus symbol present instead, which would be a puzzling thing for a iPhone user to show off. It doesn’t appear to offer much safety in the way of falls and spills either, as the cover’s design leaves the bottom and top of the device bare.

The volume and power buttons on the left and right-hand side of the iPhone 6 and 6S are left exposed as well. Going into specifics, the product measures 138.7 x 70.2 x 10.5mm in terms of dimensions and weighs in at 20g. The brand recently began selling the limited edition Ceramic version of the OnePlus X on Amazon India for Rs 22999.
