OnePlus’ buyback scheme has been around for a while now, but the OnePlus 5T wasn’t part of the program till date. That ends now, as the brand has officially announced that the handset is up for grabs bundled with the deal.
This is great news for anyone who wants a convenient way to exchange their old smartphone while buying the OnePlus 5T. Step one in that process is to get a quote on their current device on the brand’s website. The buyback scheme is being handled by Cashify, so they’ll have to enter relevant details like the condition of the handset.
Cashify accepts phones from brands like Apple, Xiaomi, and even OnePlus itself. A number of cities come under its purview including Mumbai, Ghaziabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Once this is over and done with, customers can move forward with buying the OnePlus 5T.
The OnePlus 5T will get delivered to them first. This will then be followed up by a member of the Cashify team getting in touch with them to fix an appointment. If everything is up to scratch, the firm will hand over the cash promised in exchange for the old smartphone.
