The graphite version of the OnePlus 3 may be easy to get right now, but there are plenty of folks who are waiting for its soft gold version. There’s bad news in store for them as this variant will not be arriving anytime before the end of July, as has been confirmed by the Chinese company’s CEO.
We guess, this will force a number of people to buy the graphite model of the OnePlus 3 out of frustration, but that’s just how it works. The company has not given any reason for this delay, nor has it spoken about whether the soft gold version will have a different price tag or not.
The OnePlus 3 is the company’s third flagship phone, and like both the models before it, this one too looks to offer high-end specs at a low price. While it costs Rs 27999 on Amazon India, it can be purchased worldwide via the company’s website at equivalent prices of $399.
A neat look at the specs of the OnePlus 3:
– Display: 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED, 1080p full HD
– Processor: 2.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 820
– GPU: Adreno 530
– Memory: 6GB RAM, 64GB storage
– OS: Android Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS 3.0
– Cameras: 16MP rear, 8MP front
– Battery: 3000mAh
– Dimensions: 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35mm
– Weight: 158gms
It comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display placed on its front, and runs on a quad core Snapdragon 820 chipset. A major highlight is its adoption of 6GB worth of RAM. This handset features a fingerprint scanner and other advanced hardware specs.
Like we said, the end of July is when the soft gold variant of the OnePlus 3 will be made available for purchase. We’ll have more on it as soon as additional details are out.
