Towards the end of December, O2’s Germany site had uploaded the technical specification of the HTC 7 Pro slated for the month of January. With almost 2 weeks of this month gone by, presumably the impending launch of the smartphone is highly anticipated by the folks of the mobile terrain. Engadget has now spotted O2’s German Twitter stream proudly announcing that the HTC 7 Pro will be on sale from next week for €569.

The handset operates on the recently launched Windows Phone 7 and is fitted with a large LCD TFT touchscreen display sized up at 3.6 inches offering a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The device endows handset owners the ability to quickly type out lengthy messages with its full slide-out five row QWERTY keypad. It measures 117.5 x 59 x 15.5 mm and weighs 185 grams.

When we hopped onto the twitter link, it unfortunately displayed a no existence message leaving us with no means of confirming the news. Apparently, the HTC 7 Pro will be sold for €569 when procured with a MyHandy payment plan. The gorgeous beauty will be offered in the shades of black and silver.
