NTT DoCoMo takes the covers off new models for Smart and Pro series

We had earlier reported about new handsets under DoCoMo Style and DoCoMo Prime series. Along with these offerings, the company has also launched the DoCoMo Smart series and DoCoMo Pro series as well as three new smartphones namely LYNX SH-10B, Dynapocket T-01B and BlackBerry Bold 9700.

DoCoMo Smart series is apparently designed for businessmen who intend to purchase phones that enable them to manage their personal and professional lives. The N-07B model is a slim phone with a slider and a strong battery life. It is believed to be collaborated with Amadana. The SH-09B is about 11.4mm in size and includes multiple dictionaries to help users find answers. Both these models are expected to arrive between June and July 2010.

DoCoMo Pro series has phones that are high tech and are believed to possess the latest technology. The N-08B features a QWERTY keypad as well as a 4.6-inch screen. It also provides users with a longer battery life and Wi-Fi access point. It is expected to reach the market in August 2010.

DoCoMo is also introducing three smartphones for its users. LYNX SH-10B has a 5-inch touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. It also allows for blogging and social media usage. The trendy handset is expected to arrive by July 2010. Dynapocket T-01B is said to have a 4.1-inch touchscreen and QWERTY keypad. This slider phone also comprises of an easy-access user interface. The latest offering is expected to launch anywhere between June to July 2010.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 is a smartphone considered to be ideal for business use. It is said to come complete with a QWERTY keypad and trackpad. The device is expected to reach the audience between July and August this year. Besides unveiling new handsets, DoCoMo also introduces new and innovative services. These include HD-video recording, Wi-Fi access-point capability, designer-collaborated styling and a new healthcare support service.

iBodymo is said to be a mobile health-support service expected to launch on May 21, 2010. It enables mobile phones to be used as an Accelerometer to gauge body reflexes and balance. With this new inclusion, mobile phones can also be used to record pedometer counts, distances, etc. It also keeps an account of the calorie intake or burn of the body. The price for this product is said to be 157.5 yen monthly.
