Following last week’s update for Symbian Anna, Nokia has announced the arrival of its latest Symbian Belle. The Symbian update is being hailed as the next and reportedly most advanced Symbian version.

It is being speculated that Espoo will most likely be unveiling Belle. A huge colored timer has been set up on the Nokia Facebook page to get users all excited and pumped up about this new entrant. According to the timer, Symbian Belle should be official tomorrow when the timer reaches zero.

The big colourful teaser and timer on the official Nokia Facebook fan page declares, ‘It’s almost time to try something new.’ There are also already leaked videos about the Symbian Belle creating a buzz in the web world. As per these videos the new update will provide Android-style drop down notifications. The Belle will also be offering users a Task Switcher to quickly switch between applications or close them down.

The recently released Symbian Anna update for Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 and Nokia E7 users offers new and interesting features such as a fresh user interface, virtual QWERTY keypad in portrait mode and split-screen messaging. It provides security with better data encryption on Nokia smartphones and is supposedly quite beneficial for business purposes.

It has also been supposed and widely discussed on the internet that coinciding with the Symbian Belle launch will be the announcement of three new handsets of the company namely, Cindy (Nokia 600), Zeta (Nokia 700) and Helen (Nokia 701). These smartphones will apparently operate on a 1GHz processor and the Zeta is to embed a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, a 5MP camera and support for NFC. The Nokia 701 Helen will seemingly sport an 8MP camera and most likely be a successor to the Nokia C7.
