Finger tappers and social networking butterflies may rejoice. Nokia has recently slid the wraps off an all-new smartphone, the C5. Optimized for social networking and sharing, the new device comes packed into a feature phone body, boasting of S60 3rd edition.

Designed to be stylish yet impressive, the C5 brings a host of messaging and social networking features built in. For photography fiends, the smartphone includes a bright 2.2-inch display and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It features Ovi Maps and is ready for messaging with Nokia Messaging built in.

The C5 integrates a cool new feature in its phone book, where users can see their friends’ status update directly from Facebook. Users can also update their Facebook status easily and share their location with Ovi Maps 3.0.

Measuring just over 112 x 12mm x 46mm, the handset is loaded with a 2GB memory card that comes in-box and high speed data connection. With email services like Ovi Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo, users can stay connected, day in, day out.

Available in white and warm grey, the C5 also equips 50MB of internal memory, external memory expandable up to 16GB, integrated A-GPS, micro-USB connector, and 3.5mm Nokia AV connector. It offers up to 12 hours of talktime and standby time of up to 630 hours.

The Nokia C5 is anticipated to be available in the Q2 of 2010 globally in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA. The expected retail price, before applicable taxes and subsides is €135.
