Striding its way onto the Lumia range, is the all new Nokia Play To Beta for Windows Phone. This software basically allows users to watch their videos or images on larger screens via DLNA technology.

The encounter is thoroughly wireless and can be employed with DLNA capable gadgets such as Media Player in Windows 7, TVs, Blu-ray players and so on. The devices have to be compatible with the network used by Windows 7 phones.

“Please download the application and try it at home with a DLNA-capable device, then let us know if it worked or not (for example, by writing a review if it worked, or submitting a bug report if it doesn’t work),” states the team on the Nokia Beta Labs blog.

With regards to this, the team has urged users of the Lumia to try the beta version of the app with a DLNA capable device. Essentially, they are also aiming to fix prior issues reported with the release of the same.

In order to completely take advantage of the feedback, the company needs to be informed about the kind of router and the DLNA model used in the process. Another crucial aspect would be whether the DLNA device was hooked up to the network wirelessly or via cables.
