Nokia N86 heads to Canada

Nokia N86 Handset Canadians yenning for a high resolution camera phone can now lay their hands on the Nokia N86 which boasts of an 8 megapixel camera featuring auto focus, flash and ultra wide angle Carl Zeiss optics. The dual sliding smartphone is made available via Canadian network carrier Roger Wireless.

With a whooping 8GB of onboard memory, users can hoard up to 3,000 photos. The smartphone is pre-loaded with Canadian maps and Ovi Maps that enable users to access downloadable apps. The Nokia handset allows users to chitchat continuously for 6.3 hours and also delivers 13 days of standby time.

“The Nokia N86 8MP has image capabilities so powerful it is the only digital camera you will ever need. Having one device that can connect you to your social network, navigate you from place to place and capture life around you means the mobile phone is more than just a device, but an integral part of our lifestyles,” remarked Richard White, General Manager, Nokia Canada.

The Nokia smartphone is inclusive of built-in FM radio transmitter, stereo FM radio and offers access to Rogers Wireless’ urMusic service. On purchasing the N86, users will receive visual guided turn by turn walk navigation for free and global drive navigation free for 10 non-consecutive days.

The Nokia N86 8MP smartphone can be purchased from Rogers Wireless for $99.99 with a three year voice and data activation.
