Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T ready for launch in US this November

The Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T has been given a broad release date. The smartphone will be added to the carrier’s Windows Phone 8 lineup next month. There were rumors last month hinting that the American telecom would have the device in its stables by early November.

The Lumia 920 is exclusive to AT&T and comes with the latest improvements in Nokia PureView imaging technology. It even brings along optical image stabilization to its rear-facing main 8.7MP camera which can record HD video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The one mounted on the front is capable of 720p HD at a resolution of 1280 x 960p.

Wireless charging is possible but those who want to utilize this capability will have to separately purchase accessories for the purpose. Its four and a half inch PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and, thanks to technology enhancing its readability in sunlight and a high brightness mode, glancing at it doesn’t strain the user.

The carrier says the phone is ‘4G LTE fast’ and can be used even when wearing gloves. It will come with Nokia City Lens which enhances the device’s maps feature, making for a more interactive, attractive package.

The Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T version is officially scheduled to be made available sometime in November, although exact release date information hasn’t been divulged at the moment. It will come in black, white, red, cyan and yellow.
