The Nokia Lumia 710 is the latest smartphone to be churned out from the Finnish company’s stable. The highlight of this new handset in terms of web browsing is the integrated support for Internet Explorer 9 which is believed to offer a high quality, fast web surfing experience.

Powered by Windows Phone 7.5, the Nokia Lumia 710 features 8GB of internal memory and 512MB RAM. It lends support to various HTML5 web apps and is equipped with a 5MP auto-focus camera featuring LED flash which enables users to capture HD videos at 30 frames-per-second.

While the smartphone comes dressed in black or white, it is accompanied by different shades of removable back covers like cyan, fuchsia and yellow. It’s incorporated with a 3.7-inch 800 x 480p resolution screen possessing a ClearBlack TFT display for vivid color and clarity even under bright sunlight.

Running on a 1.4GHz processor, the newest Nokia handset offers a variety of connectivity options such as 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with quad band radio reception. Measuring 119mm x 62.4mm x 12.5mm, it comes with hardware acceleration and a graphics processor.

The company says that the Lumia 710 is apt for those addicted to social networking as it provides full integration of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Users can share pictures with a mere few of taps and benefit from the Nokia Drive functionality which proffers free turn-by-turn navigation.

Besides the incorporation of Xbox Live Hub for gaming and Outlook Mobile for corporate email account support, the device is equipped with the latest version of Nokia Music. It features MixRadio that offers a number of locally-relevant music channels.

The Nokia Lumia 710 is set to start retailing by the end of this year and will soon be making its first appearance in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan. With a price of approximately €270, it will be shipped to other markets around the world next year.
