Nokia Lumia 520, 720 price in India steps out, on for April launch

Price information for the Lumia 520 and 720 has been disclosed in India, with the first one being set at Rs. 10,550. Unveiled at the MWC this year, both Nokia smartphones will come in an array of shades which include red, white, cyan, black and yellow. The former device brings along the option of changeable shells as well.

The 520 is projected as the most budget-friendly device in the series, but it manages to drag in quite a few decent specs. A 4-inch IPS touchscreen is sheltered within a chassis that measures 119.9mm x 64mm x 9.9mm in dimensions. The only means of clicking pictures and recording footage is a 5MP camera that rests on the rear. A 1430mAh battery is given the responsibility of powering up the device.

The 720 flaunts higher-end hardware components with a 4.3-inch WVGA LCD display that is shielded from imminent scratches and scrapes by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Being fueled by a 2000mAh power pack, the device provides an option of procuring an accessory for wireless charging. It boasts of a 6.7MP Carl Zeiss main snapper with an f1.9 aperture. A 1.3MP secondary lens shares space with the screen on the front panel.

Further accumulation of data is made feasible via 7GB of free SkyDrive storage. The phones exhibit common camera add-ons as well. These include Bing vision as well as Cinemagraph, Smart Shoot and Panorama lenses.
