Nokia Lumia 1520 or the Bandit is one huge WP8 handset, see for yourself

The Nokia Lumia 1520 nicknamed Bandit has been showing up on the internet consistently and although the company or its brand new owner, Microsoft have not revealed anything about the device, @evleaks claims to have laid its hands on the phablet’s press shot. And we must say, that it does look like the real deal.

It was this serial leaker who had confirmed that the rumored Nokia Bandit is nothing but the Lumia 1520 and now it gives us the first glimpse of what the Finnish company has in store for us. This will not only be the first Windows Phone 8 handset to feature a touchscreen that measures 6 inches, but also the foremost Microsoft-certified gadget to employ a quad core processor. All current WP8 phones, including the flagship devices have been blessed with dual core chipsets.

Previous rumors have indicated that the Nokia Lumia 1520 will be loaded with the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile platform along with the GDR3 update. Its 6-inch touchscreen is said to be capable of rendering full HD visuals, which means it will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Like all other Lumia phones, the handset in question will operate with the assistance of a Qualcomm processor, but it will have four cores. And we understand that a 20MP camera, hopefully PureView, may grace the rear panel of the gadget.

As of now, these are purely speculations that we have gathered from various sources and we are yet to get an official nod regarding all of these features of the Nokia Lumia 1520. We will definitely let you know as soon as we get another update about the Bandit, till then, keep guessing.
