Nokia introduces EMI schemes for the Lumia 925 in India

Taking a cue from marketing strategies of companies like Samsung and Apple, Nokia has introduced EMI schemes for its brand new Lumia 925 that is up for sale in India for Rs 33,499. The aforementioned OEMs have highly boosted their sales in the subcontinent by offering phones with zero percent processing fee and easy EMIs and Nokia has merely taken a leaf out of their books.

The said scheme is applicable on the Nokia phone through online retail stores as well and to make the most of it, interested customers will have to use a credit card from banks like Axis Bank, Standard Chartered, HSBC, ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC and Citibank. They will have to pay the entire amount in not more than 6 equal monthly installments.

For refresher’s sake, the Nokia Lumia 925 comes drenched in shades of black, white and grey and shows off a 4.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 1280 x 768p resolution. This ClearBlack TruColor screen has an aspect ratio of 15:9 and a pixel density of 334ppi. And as it is reinforced with a film of Corning Gorilla Glass 2, it should be capable of keeping scrapes and scratches at bay.

The responsibility of keeping the handset powered up for talk time of around 18.3 hours in the 2G mode has been assigned to a 2000mAh battery. A dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor is the driving force behind the gadget and users will find 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory in the phone. And what’s more, the gadget even boasts of an 8.7MP PureView camera and a 1.2MP webcam.
