The all new Nokia Asha 305, 306 and 311 phones are here to provide the relatively affordable touchscreen experience to potential users. The handsets are part of the freshly unveiled Nokia Asha Touch family.
First off, the Nokia Asha 311 is equipped with a scratch proof 3.5G capacitive touchscreen along with polarization filters to provide a smooth user interface. There’s a 3.2MP snapper thrown into the mix for photography purposes. All the operations are fueled by a 1GHz processor. Besides, Nokia Maps and 15-level Angry Birds arrive pre-installed on the handset. Other social networking and messenger utilities like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp are pre-loaded. For refresher’s sake, the built in Nokia Browser 2.0 is said to carry almost 90% data compression capability.

The Nokia Asha 305 is a dual SIM phone featuring the Easy Swap ability. Its front panel is dominated by a 3-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen. In terms of connectivity, it provides Bluetooth and dual band options. Other built-in Nokia content include Browser 2.0 and Maps just like the aforementioned Touch phone. Apart from these offerings, users can download 40 EA games such as Need for Speed, Tetris and Bejeweled among others.
The Nokia Asha 306 shares many features including the screen specifications with the Asha 305, though the former is a single SIM variant. As an added advantage, the Asha 306 carries WLAN support to provide internet access while on the move. Even videos can be perused via GPRS and WLAN web connectivity options.
The Nokia Asha 305 price is marked at €63 and it will hit store shelves by Q2. The Asha 306 and Asha 311 can be picked up for €68 and €92, respectively. Both are slated to ship sometime in Q3.
