We have been hearing about the Nokia Asha 500, 502 and 503 for a long time now and finally, the company has introduced them officially along with a horde of other gadgets. The devices which build up on the success of the Asha 501, can be used for web browsing as well as social networking.
WhatsApp is slated to be launched for all of these gadgets and they are compatible with a number of other social networking apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, Line, WeChat and more. Nimbuzz Messenger will also be available for download, the first application that facilitates VoIP on Asha phones. A horde of other games and apps such as Photofunia, PicTag, PicFeed, Danger Dash and ESPN F1 to name a few are coming to this platform as well.
The Asha 502 is a dual SIM device, while the 500 and 503 will be made available in models featuring either one or two SIM card slots. Handsets with two bays are loaded with the Easy Swap dual SIM technology. Additionally, they feature Slam that highly simplifies and quickens the process of transferring data. Although all of these gadgets can offer access to the internet, only 503 can provide 3G data speed compatibility.
