Nokia announces E52 phone with outstanding battery life

Nokia E52 Phone

The latest addition to Nokia’s E-Series range of mobile phones is the Nokia E52. The phone promises to offer an incredible 8 hours of talktime and more than 23 days of standby time. It is aimed at corporate professionals who need to stay connected while on the go.

Sporting a slim candybar design with metallic finish, the E52 features a 2.4 inch display and instead of a full QWERTY keypad it equips a nine key input method. Its technical specifications also include a noise cancellation feature for crystal clear conversations, high speed HSDPA and data support on 3G network.

This phone includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and various music features for entertainment. It integrates a music player and a FM radio which keeps users in tune. Besides, it packs in a 3.5mm headphone port and Bluetooth A2DP stereo support.

Based on the S60 platform, the Nokia E52 supports full HTML web browser and has the capability of receiving corporate emails from Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes accounts. It also supports the Nokia Ovi Files service and offers free 60 days trial of this service.

With the Nokia E52, users can also access Windows Live, Yahoo! instant messaging, Facebook, YouTube and MySpace. This phone ships with the Nokia Messaging service for quick set-up of email accounts and folder support. Like other E-Series devices, this phone also packs in QuickOffice, Dictionary and a converter application.

The Nokia E52 phone is expected to be available during the second half of 2009. It is priced at $326 before subsidies and taxes.
