Fans in the US can finally have their Nokia 808 PureView as it is now available through Amazon. The phone with a 41MP camera sensor, initially appeared to have no plans of toddling into the region. But the Finland-based company decided to give people in the US a taste of the PureView technology.

The ‘in stock’ board on the online retailer’s website, was first noticed by PhoneArena. The e-retailer in question joined hands with Nokia and put the phone up on pre-order back in June. And as the device has not been picked up by any carrier stateside as yet, its unlocked version has been made available through Amazon. The product page clearly states that it will be compatible with 3G networks of GSM providers like AT&T and T-Mobile.

This smartphone’s camera has been integrated with a Carl Zeiss lens and is capable of taking pictures in 5MP and 8MP resolutions as well as recording 1080p videos. The handset ships with 16GB onboard memory and has an expansion slot that can support a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.
