Nokia 7100 Supernova

The Nokia Supernova family is gearing up to add another cool member in its oh-so popular clan. A slider phone by the name of Nokia 7100 Supernova has recently been unveiled by the Finnish phone maker.

We think the pictures reveal a really cool phone, though it does pretty much resemble the Nokia 6710. Not expected to have many features, the Nokia 7100 Supernova is basic entry level phone. So this time around the Supernova member may just be much cheaper.

Equipped with a Symbian S40 operating system, the 7100 Supernova features a QVGATFT display with 262k colors, 1.3 megapixel camera, Tri-band GSM/EDGE (900/1800/1900) connectivity, a built-in FM Radio and music playback. In addition to this the ultra cool slider phone also boasts of Opera Mini browser, Email capabilities, Flash Lite 2.1.1 support and Bluetooth 2.0 & USB 2.0 connectivity. This one comes minus 3G support.

While there are no official details on the price and or date for its release, we are expecting to be an inexpensive sibling to the Supernova series.
