Nokia 6263 introduced in the US by T-Mobile

Nokia logo Nokia has introduced a new handset 6263 in the US. The Nokia 6263 has the capability of supporting e-mail and downloading attachments. This handset is available via T-Mobile in USA.

The other features of the Nokia 6263 are a fold style design, a 2.2-inch 16 million color QVGA primary display and large exterior mounted music keys which can be easily accessible to save music tracks.

The Nokia 6263 comes with a memory card of 512MB which can be expanded up to 4GB. The handset also has a 1.3 mega-pixel camera with video recording for entertainment and a music player which can save up to 350 songs.

As on the announcement of Nokia 6263 Frank Vium, vice president of sales for Nokia, stated, “Many customers are looking to own a device that offers the latest conveniences, and want all of those features in a stylish but classically-styled phone. The Nokia 6263 is designed expressly for those people.”

He further added, “We are excited to be working with T-Mobile to bring this compelling blend of fun and function to customers across the country.”

Nokia 6263 has e-mail capabilities which also download attachments it also has XHTML browser, support for java and Flash Lite content and can be easily be synchronized on desktop using PC Suite software. This software can be downloaded from the Nokia site free of cost.

The Nokia 6263 comes bundled with Bluetooth, a wireless technology which enable Nokia 6263 to connect to various mobile phones. It also has a high capacity battery which can work for 3 hours of talk and can remain on standby for over 11 days.

The Nokia 6263 is available in USA online through T-Mobile and all the retail stores of T-Mobile. However the cost of the handset is not yet known.
