Nokia 603 running on Symbian Belle

Nokia 603 The colorful Nokia 603, which runs on the new Symbian Belle operating system has arrived. Earlier this year along with the announcement of the latest Nokia OS, the company had also declared four phones which were to run on it namely, Nokia 700, 701, 600 and 603. While the other three were released one after the other, the 603 is the last one to emerge.

This compact mobile phone packs in a TFT-LCD ClearBlack display of 3.5 inches with IPS technology for seemingly improved contrast and viewing angles. It comes preloaded with Nokia Maps as well as easy access to social networking games and apps. Featuring six customizable homescreens, the device is integrated with NFC.

Whatever the price-point, our aim is to ensure all Nokia smartphones are crafted for use, have Nokia’s trusted quality, are better connected, and contain unexpected surprises like the ability to tap to pair and share with NFC,” stated Tuula Rytila, Senior Vice President, Nokia.

The handset is incorporated with dynamic live widgets that enhance personalization and prioritization of users’ favourite content. It possesses a 5MP camera with face tracking, 2x zoom and a fullscreen 16:9 viewfinder. Furthermore, the device accommodates 2GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD cards.

The Nokia 603 is available in black and white accompanied by various options of back covers in six colors, namely, black, white, fuchsia, green, yellow and blue. Priced at €200, it is scheduled to start shipping in the fourth quarter of this year.
