Nokia 5 now up for pre-bookings in India

The Nokia 5 got launched in India back in June this year and is now ready to hit shops across the country. Select mobile retailers have begun taking pre-orders for the device in Chennai, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Calicut, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Indore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow.

You’ll have to shell out Rs 12899 to snap up the Nokia 5, a mid-range price tag to match its mid-range specs. Sadly, HMD Global still hasn’t declared when the smartphone will actually be in stock. It’s also sticking to its offline-only strategy for the handset, so you’ll have to head down to your nearest retailer to book it.

Vodafone recently announced that it would be offering 4GB of free data to buyers of the Nokia 5. Prepaid subscribers will have to recharge their balance for at least Rs 142 to take advantage of the deal. Postpaid customers who are on a minimum 1GB plan are eligible for it as well.
