Nokia rolls out its new entry-level CDMA phone, Nokia 1006. The phone made its debut at CES 2009. It is a very simple device that has basic functions and features. The phone is introduced for AWS network. It is a basic handset and thus it is not expected to be integrated with enhanced technologies.
Nokia 1006 phone has a bright large display screen that produces about 262K vibrant colors. The slim device is designed to fit perfectly on your palm and can easily get into your pocket. The 1006 phone is a lightweight phone having a unique curve back. The entry level phone features tri-band support and a speakerphone.
Nokia has made the phone very simple by integrating only the useful features like a stopwatch, alarm clock, calculator and a 500 contact book. In addition to this, it incorporates screensavers, customizable wallpapers, polyphonic ringtones and messages. The Nokia 1006 phone also packs in video recording feature and a wireless Bluetooth headset.
Nokia 1006 phone will be available in blue and silver. The sleek device is expected to be available in Q1 2009 at an unknown affordable price.
