Keeping in view the recent earthquake and Tsunami in northeastern Japan, the tech world has been contributing towards helping the grief stricken nation in possible ways. Nippon Foundation now contributes with its new application which enables donations via the iPhone and Android devices.
Nippon Foundation has earlier worked with local disaster relief organizations. It is accepting contributions in support of the March 11 victims. The Foundation is working towards and accepting donations for its ROAD (Resilience will Overcome Any Disaster) Project. This project offers emergency support in calamities like the recent earthquake in Japan. The funds are said to be used in effective, accountable, and timely support for partners working in disaster-stricken areas.
